The Hwa Chong Institution (College) Astronomy Society extends a warm welcome to you to participate in the inaugural Hwa Chong Meteor Countdown – Perseids Watch 2007! Fancy spending a night under a star-spangled summer sky watching elusive trails of shooting stars? Look no further! August 2007 ushers in a special annual event – the Perseids Meteor Showers. Perseids Watch promises to be a night of fun, excitement and fulfillment for participants, seeking to be an event to expose students to the wonders of the night sky.
Date: August 7th to 8 th (Tues to Wed)
Venue: Hwa Chong Institution Science Research Centre LT & School Field Time: 6.00pm to 7.00am (Meteor shower peaks at 12 midnight to 3 am) Registration: See attached file "Perseids Meteor Shower Watch - Invitation.doc" for Programme and Registration details.

Parent/Guardian consent is required for those staying overnight. A signed copy the attached file "Indemnity Form - Perseids Meteor Shower watch.doc" must accompany each application.

Submit Parent/Guardian Consent form to Dr. Lim Jit Ning (pigeon hole).
