SWIMFEST

Hey handsomes and prettys!

There is a personal statement talk as well as Manchester University Law talk on Tues, so perhaps we might not be able to swim. Most of us will be interested in the personal statement one by UCL while i probably want to attend to Manchester one.

So i propose Wednesday instead, since Thurs got NO SCHOOL we can start swimming at say 3 or 4 or whenever everyone is free, then till late evening, then maybe go for dinner together? Probably our last few outings in school uniform..

I'm sure everyone's aspiring to emulate our favourite Aquaman, Michael Fred "I break the world records like drinking water" Phelps! Carlos definitely wants to try "phelping" his arms on the starting block heehee. I wanna see if my powers on the track starting block will work on the swimming one :D

We'll discuss this again on Monday then. Meanwhile prepare all your Speedo LZRs or whatever kinky bikinis or red trunks (AHEM CARLOS) and remember those anti fog goggles!

Thanks again for all the suggestions for the montage song. I'm still looking for more ideas, but here're a few things you should check before suggesting a song: first, check if the song has a suitable moderately fast 'pulse' that makes photos easy to follow but not too rigid, simple but flexible; second, the song should have climax-building and some sort of climax; and third, meaningful lyrics are better! I know we all just love sad, sad songs, but I'm afraid I can't work with the current suggestions (except, of course, my own suggestion, if I do humbly say so myself). Uh. Yes, you may now badmouth me.

Also, because I don't want to be hated for choosing the wrong photo, please e-mail me YOUR photo of choice to be used as part of the montage sequence. Your name will be displayed to it. If you do NOT choose a photo I will have to make do with the best I can, but if so mentioned event does occur you may NOT hit me, or assault me in any way, with any kind of object, tangible or intangible otherwise, for choosing the wrong photo!

we need to think of something to get for mdm tay for grad day. cap at $50. just post your suggestions or tell me or something. no hurry though.

and the ct photo montage thing, just now some people asked me about what i told the class just now. i meant put the photos you have of the class into a cd and give vincent. when i said put your photos, i didn't mean put photos of you in a cd and give to vincent. and dun like everyone put 3 photos in 1 cd each then give him, please compile first.

we need to get this done soon. deadline is 22 august i think, but we're not gonna have much time in august, so lets just finish this quickly and then dun have to care about it.

anyway, just to remind you all that we have some QSE survey thing on 18th july, which is next next friday, from 3-4pm. yea its quite long from now, but i just say first so that you can leave that 1 hour free to do this funny thing.
