Hello Everyone!

I hope you people are free this Saturday afternoon/ evening because our classmate, Vincent, is coming down from the North! I know some of us have met last Saturday because we wanted to _______________, but unfortunately (or thankfully) we didn't _______________. So let's not think about how we can _______________ anymore but let's meet up this Sat again! I hope those officers-to-be are out of their camps by then! If anyone has any suggestions or anything please tag the board! (You can be the first to revive it!)

Oh, one more thing, I promised Sherene to ask the class if anyone is interested in a picnic at Marina Barrage. According to Sherene, it's a fun place to be at night because you can shine torches down on couples who are making out. So if you have any ideas you can always tag the board! :)

There's always a band that's too young to be true. Sporting colourful shirts, layered outfits and with infectious music, SHINee looks set to stay on the scene (esp when other bands go to army)....
5 members as well, this is going to hurt...Onew (20), Jonghyun (19), Key (18), Minho(18), Taemin (16) all damn young with very long careers ahead.

For people who don't like figuring out who's who in bands and people who can't match faces with names, K.Will is here to offer you thoughtful ballads and melodies! With looks like Daesung of Big Bang, his latest song with MC Mong (MONG!) is the hippest thing to come by!

They are how True Men should be. 5 members, very distinctive cos they always stand in the same lineup, from left, Xiah Junsu (23), Micky Yoochun (23), Hero Jaejoong (23), Max Changmin (21), Yunho U know (23). i think the age got some problem cos very weird leh. Last sunday a few of us caught breakout at the esplanade! for those people who didnt watch (LIKE TAYJIAYUAN who sold me her ticket) we must catch it together when they come back again! The next time I'm going to make sure I get a centre block left side aisle seat in the 6th row from the front because I want to take picture with them! AHHHHHHH~!

There is a personal statement talk as well as Manchester University Law talk on Tues, so perhaps we might not be able to swim. Most of us will be interested in the personal statement one by UCL while i probably want to attend to Manchester one.

So i propose Wednesday instead, since Thurs got NO SCHOOL we can start swimming at say 3 or 4 or whenever everyone is free, then till late evening, then maybe go for dinner together? Probably our last few outings in school uniform..

I'm sure everyone's aspiring to emulate our favourite Aquaman, Michael Fred "I break the world records like drinking water" Phelps! Carlos definitely wants to try "phelping" his arms on the starting block heehee. I wanna see if my powers on the track starting block will work on the swimming one :D

Thanks again for all the suggestions for the montage song. I'm still looking for more ideas, but here're a few things you should check before suggesting a song: first, check if the song has a suitable moderately fast 'pulse' that makes photos easy to follow but not too rigid, simple but flexible; second, the song should have climax-building and some sort of climax; and third, meaningful lyrics are better! I know we all just love sad, sad songs, but I'm afraid I can't work with the current suggestions (except, of course, my own suggestion, if I do humbly say so myself). Uh. Yes, you may now badmouth me.

Also, because I don't want to be hated for choosing the wrong photo, please e-mail me YOUR photo of choice to be used as part of the montage sequence. Your name will be displayed to it. If you do NOT choose a photo I will have to make do with the best I can, but if so mentioned event does occur you may NOT hit me, or assault me in any way, with any kind of object, tangible or intangible otherwise, for choosing the wrong photo!

Okay there's been changes to the plan for tmr!

When we end CNY celebrations, meet at class bench immediately! We'll be taking a bus to town and having lunch at Burger King at PS!

Hello, this is how much we have to pay for chalet! Know it's a lot but nothing's worth more than the happy times and memories we had! :D

Booking of chalet: $376 altogether
BBQ: $190.05

Ppl who stayed 1 night and no BBQ= $18
Ppl who stayed 1 night and BBQ = $30
Ppl who stayed 2 night and no BBQ = $34
Ppl who stayed 2 nights and BBQ = $46
And erm plus Jiayuan's Dvds we have to pay altogether $22. So erm the cost will be split among all those that stayed in the chalet okay (13 ppl)! (so ea have to pay about $1.70)

SO here goes! please inform me if I'm wrong okay cos maybe I forgot some ppl, or added more..

Hello 07s76 ! haha its finally, or not so finally, the last day of school. officially, its the last day of our j1 year ! haha.. time has really flied. i can still remember when we were first put into the same class, when everyone was still new to the school and everyone didnt really know each other..

we have walked a long journey to come to where we are today ! haha, i must say we're a rather fun class, esp after promos, we seem to have bonded a lot more! :D haha yeps, and this holidays, we must organise some outings !! or else .. by the time next year comes... oh no ..... hahaha !

These are the gems reflection that we're supposed to post.

3 things we learnt:

1. different rhythms for middle eastern drums

2. the name of the rhythms

3. the different instruments used for a middle eastern big band

No photos taken though, we were all too enthusiastic in learning the drums.

1 thing we would like to see in our next GEMs: longer time to learn more.

Other feedback:
time is too short, too little taught, audi basement too small and very loud, but very fun!

its drums though, not chocolate making. and its not drumset, the teacher told me its middle eastern drums!

Shao Jie here, this is regarding the bio pract on monday 16july from 3 to 5pm, is it possible for me to do the pract another time? Track final day is on wednesday and coach has scheduled training for us on monday and tuesday for preparation, and training starts at 3pm. So maybe i could do the pract with some other class or maybe arrange another time, please?

okay, here's whats going to happen tomorrow!
Mr Choe has decided that we need some more consultation for our essays, so we would be going down in our PW GROUPS for GP consultation. I know it may sound a little confusing but here's how its going to look like:

10.30: moses, samm, shengwei, sherene
11: carlos, jinglin, jiayuan

The venue would be at A207, and please bring along stuff which you can read while waiting for your turn for consultation. Be prepared to stay for at least one hour plus excluding waiting time (which would happen in the event one PW group takes more than half an hour for consultation)
